Environtech Consultancy Africa Ltd was contracted by Kinde Engineering Ltd in association with Safaricom Ltd and Huawei to carry out Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment (ESIA) on the proposed Safaricom ltd fibre extension installation project in Meru area in Meru County. The project covered a total length of 15 Kms along the road reserves including several Spurs and Ducts connecting to client and surrounding BTS. The total cost for the was estimated to be Kenya Shillings, Eight millions two hundred and Sixty four thousands seven hundred and forty four only Kenya Shillings (Kshs 8,264,744.00).
ECA successfully completed the ESIA study project and the client was issued with NEMA EIA license permitting Safaricom Ltd to undertake and implement the proposed project.
