Environtech Consultancy Africa Ltd was contracted by Kinde Engineering Ltd in association with Safaricom Ltd to carry out Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment (ESIA) on the proposed 46.116 Kms of Safaricom ltd fibre extension installation project in Kiambu County. The first part of the project will continue from Nairobi County along Kiambu Road to Kiambu town and Ndumberi, while the second part continued from Nairobi County through Red Hills Road –Limiru Road to Ndenderu Town and Banana Post office via Banana-Raini Road. The project covered a total length of 46.116 Kms along the road reserves including several Spurs and Ducts connecting to client and surrounding BTS.
ECA successfully completed the ESIA study project and the client was issued with NEMA EIA license permitting Safaricom Ltd to undertake and implement the proposed project.
