The extension project was a part Safaricom Ltd aim in networking to the whole country. The Project passed through the following town centers along Moyale-Marsabit Highway towards Moyale Town starting 2kms before Makutano Sololo to Moyale Town passing through, Sollolo Makutano, Dabala Fachana, Juction Bor, Chir, Walmur, Qalaliwe, Odha, Butiye, Moyale Town Moyale Biashara, Moyale Manyatta, Moyale PCK and eventually to Moyale hills connecting to the Safaricom BTS installed there. Additionally the project included installation of several Spurs and Ducts connecting to the Various BTS along the routes.
